The Hindi Word Processor (HWP) is a new technology allowing for a VERY EASY way of Indian-language data entry into computers using a normal English keyboard. This technology is employed within other Krishna Software programs as well to convert Roman form to Sanskrit and Gujarati in real-time. The latest version of HWP 4.0 comes on a CDROM and features 5 languages: Hindi/Sanskrit, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali/Assamese, and Latin/Roman form (diacritics). There are 6 true-type fonts that are mapped into an intuitive form with the normal keyboard. No cryptic keyboard mappings or special codes. For example, if you want to type "namaste", just type "namaste" and the HWP will transliterate into any of the supported languages.
* Currently uses speech libraries supplied with certain sound cards.
The HWP is being used all over the world by famous organizations and people including State Bank of India, some producers of Indian movies, and Indian book publishers. For more information on how to make this technology work for your needs, feel free to contact us via email.
